Dear Nikki,

How do you prove patronizing treatment from a coworker or manger? I feel like I can’t prove it but I have a hating ass coworker who goes out of her way to interject herself in my work and get under my skin.

This is always a little bit tricky...

Nikki: 

It's hard to prove a feeling unless you have something in writing or a witness to the behavior.  I would suggest talking to your direct supervisor or manager and give examples of what's been going on. They should be able to address the issues with the coworker and if there's no change and/or retaliation from the coworker, tell your manager again.  I would also you go to HR at that point with the documented conversations you've had and the outcome.

I wouldn't handle it on my own. You're at work and nothing is worth your job over someone else being petty.
